Dennis - re your question, lots of magnets and patience!! - (its a very sturdy steel tube)
but it must be very nice on a rock solid guided mount i bet (specially in the wind)- one day? my mate has an old C8/GP he keeps asking when we are gonna put the CP on it for a test -
