It looks like the SLT130 has a rack and pinion focuser as standard so in theory this should be an improvement. I have a crayford like the one you are looking at and while it is no engineering masterpiece it does the job for me. As Steve points out on his website the hole spacing might be different and it would be worth checking this out to avoid a lot of messing around. There are much better quality focusers than this available but it depends on how much you want to spend. You might want to check if you can get one with a 10:1 fine focus mechanism.
