I feel that you should go to the police and make a report. Chances are, he's got a string of other stuff.

If he hasn't ,and you don't, then the next person he does it to, doesn't really have much of a case really, and nor do the police.

In this instance, if its not about you, it may be about the next person, who, more than likely, is just like you; trying to get to work in one piece.

BTW. Up until 2 years ago, I was racing bicycles, which meant 30hrs a week on the saddle. I realised a long time ago that some people are just killers in the making, they throw beer bottles at you at 5am, run you off the road, or pull in front of you getting the kids to school. A bus driver once ran me into his own passengers waiting to board his bus! They lodged a complaint and he lost his job.

Mind you, these people are the first to have a shave and put on a suit when they go to court.
