Shane, that's strange as I thought that mattresses were supposed to be non-flammable. Having said that, perhaps the ink or printing on the mattress outer material was overheated by being leaned against the bonnet?
In any event, the finished polish looks well done! errr, do you want to pop over here, my ute needs a polish? I think I've washed it twice in 5 years.
