It has been many moons since the NOAA had any aircraft in Oz, (even more for NASA) so I'd suspect military traffic out of Pearce.
Joint exercises are conducted fairly regularly in the North....could have been a US interloper.
BTW next time try, 16.00 or 4.00 pm to save any ambiguity
