Rob and Matty...

There are likely two things causing the stars to look a little bloated... The image was taken with an SCT... The SCT's optical design doesn't really lend itself to producing very tight star images... Thats not to say they can't do it, just that its not what they designed to do. If you look at spot diagrams for comon SCT's and say, a good APO refractor or a CDK/RC telescope and that will tell you the story...

Also, During processing, using power stretching or DDP can avoid bloating the stars... watching the upper end of your curves can also help greatly...

Less than great seeing can also cause it.... A mixture of two of the above or all three could definitely be the cause of the slightly bloated stars..

Detail throughout the nebula looks good, indicating focus was spot on...
