some macro abstracts

Went out to try to shoot some bugs this morning, but weather getting too cold for them now I think. Very dewy, though. Noticed a couple of spider webs with fine dew on them, so thought I'd do some dewdrop abstracts.

These were shot at 3:1 to 5:1 magnification. You can see a blade of grass in the first shot 3:1. The dew drops are tiny - maybe 0.2mm or 0.3mm diameter.

I've seen better, but I haven't attempted these spider web shots before. Depth of field so shallow, you really need to get the web face on to get most drops in focus - unless you can focus stack them which I can't seem to successfully do.
