Nice images Andrew. Just in case you get to keep it a little longer, Mirror lock is only available in the creative modes (Manual or auto override
NOT full auto). Switch to one of the modes
P,Tv,Av, or
M and select custom functions from the menu. Mirror lockup is item 12, you may also want to set long exposure noise reduction in item 2 (the 20D takes an equivalent exposure dark frame, and applies it, after the initial image) . Mirror lock works on the first shutter press followed by the shutter firing on the second press. If you're using bulb (manual timing) you need to keep the shutter button pressed for the duration of the exposure otherwise it's 30 Seconds Max. The one thing I've learned about the 20D is that you need to know it inside out if you're taking it outside in the dark.
