Enceladus

Incredible image of Saturn's moon Enceladus on APOD today.

Interesting that half the moon shows craters from meteor impacts, while the other half must still be active as ice continues to refresh the surface and wear away any old impact craters.

It even suggests that Saturn's E-ring may be formed by ice spewing off the surface of Enceladus.

Amazing solar system we live in.
