Thanks all. Gee I dont know why Meade stopped making the 6 inch "Cometrackers" It only has plate glass optics, not very accurate at that, yet with the MPCC coma is much better. I think if they cost a bit more but had 10/th wave optics and AR coated corrector plate, and a good sturdy low profile focuser they would be almost the equal of those horrendiously expensive ASA fast newtonian astrographs, but at a fraction of the cost. The fact the optics are sealed means no air currents to worry about either
