Sorry Barry - didn't see you waving!

1) Download & unzip the batch process .exe file (for windows) at: http://www.ozemail.com.au/~hodsond/dbp-1.1.8.zip

2) Fire up GIMP and go to Edit/Preferences/Folders and click on "Plug-Ins"

3) You'll see what 2 paths your installation has set for this folder. Mine (for example) are:

C:\Users\Chris\.gimp-2.6\plug-ins
C:\Program Files (x86)\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins

4) Go to each of these folders and copy/paste a copy of the dbp exe file into each. DON'T drag and drop!!!! By doing this you'll drop the file inadvertantly onto one of the other plug-ins (each are programs in their own right), which will try and fire up to process the file you've just dragged onto it. That's why your missing .dll message is coming up.

5) Close GIMP and then fire it up again. You'll see the batch processor at the bottom of the Filters list.

Have fun!

Some other GIMP astronomy-related plug-ins - some very good! (batch dark subtraction, layer alignment, star rounding, etc, etc):
