I've been thinking about that for a while, too.. at the moment i just use a chair next to the scope to put the laptop on.
I'd also want something I can take on and off easily, because I don't always use the laptop.
It also might inspire me to hook the sky commander DSC's up to the laptop so I can see the nice circle moving through starry nights as I move the dob.
