Whoa Bird,

Thanks for posting this image, it's nice to know that even you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

I can relate to the satisfaction of getting an image, even an ordinary image, when the weather has conspired against you for a while.

I keep telling people how good the seeing is out here but over the last few weeks it has been very ordinary to pretty crook. When it came good early this week I just couldn't get down to my observatory quick enough.

Making the effort consistently to do the early morning shift on Jupiter in the hope of good seeing takes a bit of dedication, a quality that you consistently demonstrate with your work. So yes, I agree with you that this is indeed an ordinary image, but I applaud you for making the effort to capture it.

Looking forward to some more descent seeing and to what you can produce with it.
