Hi Sandy,

It can work without impeding the functioning of the argo but it can't interface with the Argo for goto if thats what you mean. In my case I will be using my modified orion Intelliscope DSC with it. I slect the object on the Intelliscope. Push to it manually, then one manually adjusts the speed of the altitude and azimuth motors till one has centered and canceled drift in the EP. Its a straight line tracking vector one has manually set and as objects travel in an arc across the sky, this means that the object will drift out of the FOV after about 10-15 minutes whereupon one re-adjusts the motors speed to set another straightline track that gets you another 10 or 15 minutes etc. The TNT has no computer brain like a servocat that might interface with a DSC like an ARGO. Thats why its much cheaper than a servocat. Its no where near as sophisticated. But if you aren't bothered about a lack of goto and a 15 minute tracking time between manual re-adjustments doesn't bother you then its a cheap alternative.
