Many will agree with you, but like usual, this lad has vastly different views on the matter. Humans already overpopulate this planet, we rape its resources constantly, usually without a 2nd though. We destroy other species, or their habitats, or both, usually without a 2nd thought. Viruses, cancers, diseases are all methods that nature uses to control a species population. For too many years, we've sought to circumvent these controls by inventing vaccines, operations etc. A time will come when nature mutates sufficiently to be beyond our sciences, and our populations will be culled quite dramatically. It is the nature of nature to do so, there is a thing called balance. The world is not currently "balanced". I'm seeing a gradual increase in people realising this, at least in private, but many will not publically say it because then they're branded as anti social, mean, or just trouble makers, or (most commonly), ridiculed. Mankind's society is not a particularly nice thing.
