The investigations are continuing and maybe linked to what happened to me.
I have given up hope that my stuff will be recovered a long time ago.
But one never knows, I maybe lucky, very lucky.

Thank you all for your support.
Hey Rob,

Its a safe bet he is the culprit. The problem is it has to be proven. Either he confess's or police find him or his mates in possession of the stuff.

These people are not usually stupid enough to keep the stolen goods in their own home.

I've been hit 6 or 7 times. The nosy neighbour is a good watch-dog.
Where I live now, the whole neighbourhood knows me. Four years ago a low life took my dog and broke into my shed, stealing tools.

People around the corner saw the idiot with my dog. Police took him to court. He pleaded not guilty at first. The evidence against him was in his house. He pleaded guilty eventually. I was paid restitution $500.

Make yourself known to neighbours, Take a beer or two over. I grow a lot of vegetables and hand them over when I have excess. The beer is good enough. Only once and they remember.

This burglar who hit your house may have sold it in a pub. Post a notice that you, or a friend is interested in buying the said item at a can not refuse price. If you get to view it say "Wrong colour".

You know what to do from there.
If its gone to Melbourne maybe the Victorian IIS members pay a visit to the pawn shops at their leisure. I visit the shops here in Brisbane and see some reasonable bargains now and then. I still look for gear that was taken 15 years ago.

Well, I think I can say that there are a lot of eyes keeping a look out. I will here in Brisbane.

Cheers Marty
Hope it comes back to you.
