Wow. That's terrible. If you do have house and content insurance that would be covered. I don't know what your situation is though. I've insured all my gear outside of the house and on trips as well should I have a car accident. It was only an extra $100.00 per year with GIO home and content. Worth every cent if you count the cost of replacing everything.
