I've been using it for a while - it is uniquely laid out but I do find it easier that, for example, CdC (Skychart).
I tend to use StarCalc, CNebulaX & Cartes du Ciel in roughly that order.
CNebulaX is an observing planning tool and that is predominately how I've used it. Having said that I have yet to figure out how to effectively search through some of its databases - kind of wish they were merged into one rather than spread-out over several e.g. double stars are spread across a few DBL0A, DBL0B etc. but that is a minor quibble.
