Another interesting and unique image. One shot colour eh?
I had an STL11000CM once. Nice camera. I didn't find any gain from
debayering into RGB and recombining though. I did find a gain by
desaturating the RGB and use it as a luminance and sharpen it up more and recombine. The colour combine straight out of the camera seemed pretty good.
Main problem with OSC is colour noise in the background or dim areas.
You seem to be on top of that in your dust areas.
OSC of course has the huge advantage of every shot counts so if cloud comes over and you only got red or green you can still make an image. Was that the main attraction?
