We Humans sleep to much anyway. 
Daylight saving is artificial and is only used to suit certain part of the population.

Same deal I suppose for people that complain about it being light later in the evening. Just draw the blinds.
I like daylight saving as it allows me to do stuff in the evening after work.
From an astro point of view it makes no difference as I can't start viewing before 9pm most nights due to commitments with my kids in the evenings.
