Both look very nice indeed! Between the antannae galaxy and your shot of 5128 you're attacking some pretty small targets for given the 300mm F/L, I think this is actually very effective, as it gives that real feel for just how vast space is.
I can't wait till later in the year when I can point a 135 ~ 200mm lens at M31 and try the same sort of thing!
