I was using AVGfree for years, then I got an Acer laptop and read worrying things about AVG and Acers... so I'm running with nothing at the moment. Might give AVAST a go, cheers for starting this thread Steve.
Been using Spybot S&D for years too, but for some time now it's never found a single thing after a scan... which is a little worrying!!
