Whats going on in the animation in the gap between Jupiter and Ganymede, did you do a separate RGB alignment just for Ganymede, as there seems to be a vertical edge in there?

Regarding the gap - yes, I align on Ganymede in a separate run through Registax and then recombine with the Jupiter image in Photoshop. The vertical edge must be where I didn't set the background levels to 0 in all frames!
I'll see if I can fix it up.

I don't know either, it's catching up on me this afternoon. 2 mornings in a row of getting up at 3:30am and then heading off to work after imaging Jupiter. And it's predicted to be clear all week!

This is about the time when I start wishing for it to get cloudy

If the seeing continues to improve, i'll deal with it
