Jupiter, morning of 12th May 2009

Hi All,

Set up a 7 day 24 hr timer to turn on my active cooling system at 3am CST this morning. Hit the deck at 3:30 am CST and by the time I was ready to image Jupiter my primary was .2 C below ambient at 8 C.

Was RGB imaging by 4:20 am CST, 18:50 UTC and captured 5 sets of R, G & B avi's. The seeing really was not a lot better than before midnight when I was imaging Saturn, about 6-7/10.

Have attached 4 RGB's plus an animation of those 4 images.
I have had some excellent seeing to image Saturn over the last few weeks but as yet have not struck that level of seeing in the morning.
That said there is a lot of rather interesting features in these images.

Thanks for looking
Regards
Trevor
