My Sweetie had never been to a football game at the hallowed ground of AFL. The MCG. Last Friday we "Virgin Blued" to Melbourne.
Purchased several bargains at the Victoria Markets. Lunched at a nice restuarant and dinner party'd at my Sister's and Brother in law's.
Saturday enjoyed the Bribane Lions beating the stuffing out of the Richmond Tigers.
Ofcourse to complete the trip we drove north to my favourite fortified wines area. Rutherglen. Memories and fine wines.
The weather, uncharacteristically mild, cloudy or overcast at times but fine.
Jet Star back to Brisbane last night (Monday)
