Talking about fake photo set ups. About 11 years ago there was a section on "Beyond 2000" showing the then relatively new goto telescopes. They used a LX200 classic. A dummy two star alignment was done looking out the window at Hadar and Acrux by setting the two alignment stars with the setting circles ( a little off camera). What a surprise I got when the screen said alignment successful. The studio was rather small, in a unit in Balmain but later when I saw the program it was surprisingly realistic.
