Sorry, I was aiming at DVD's with my comments... have no experience with BD.
Region free DVD's are not genuine, atleast not with Star Trek.
Only Star Trek Original is available on BD... because it's the only one that can be show in HD... all the following series were shot on video, not film.
If they do get released on BD, they'll be no better than DVD quality.

Dunno about that, have seen a few sellers with 20k+ sales to their name selling pirated dvd's. Particularly these ones:
