I love the autumn colours in this image, the various types of foliage add differing textures in different regions within the image. The bent over tree certainly is a feature of it, the dark horizontal lines of that particular tree create a real feature that compliments the more vertical lines that fade into the background.
I really like the effect and overall look, at first glance this scene seemed too crowded to me but after some time spent, really dissecting the components within it I think it looks just great, virgin bush, a place where, maybe no one has been before.
I really like, in the far central background the small patches of deep orange or possibly ochre red. Not sure if it is foliage or maybe the terrain, I think they act as highlights that lift the image.
