Sorry chaps, nothing exciting, just to let you know that early this morning, my youngest woke me up and so the brain kicked into gear and could not go back to sleep.

I jumped on computer and thought i would check with starry night, when saturn was rising. it was getting past the time and so i look out the curtains and there she was coming up over the mountains. there was a small glow of the sun coming up behind, but still she was visible to the naked eye!

Can't wait for a few more weeks when higher in the sky and i can have a look at her thru the scope
