Messier 5 - with insects and all!

What a challenge the other night!
Despite the half moon, me and my imaging buddy went out to the Everglades National Park. It was a beautiful night but the mosquitos, bugs, and insects where really insane. We had to wait in the car for a while because there was no way to step out.

In any case, I wanted to try a few things out with the setup. Dithering, AstroArt 4, and just fiddle around.

Before all that though, I thought I'd image M5 for a few.

Exposures: 52 minutes total, 26 x 2 min, no darks, no bias, no flats.

Faint fuzzies around the image: upper left, bottom right, lower left, top
center...
Also the star in the lower right side of the image is a binary star: the small
companion can be seen on the left side.

Always appreciate comments and suggestions!
Thank you for looking and clear skies!
