UK1 (Rob) just got his EQ6 mount from Bintel and it states "NEQ6" on the side plates. I was over his house today admiring it!.
I don't know alot about EQ6's but IMHO the Top plate was definitely a vixen dovetail size fit and was not any wider like a Losmandy dovetail. He has a vixen dovetail & rings & these fitted fine no room either side.
Still....a very nice mount indeed.
