Been on Google all day. I can ping the machine back and forth. I can access printer/fax shares. It's only when trying to access a mapped drive or directory that I get a prompt for the guest account with a pwd?

The guest account is not active anyway and the simple file sharing is supposed to be a no brainer. As its name implies it's simple file sharing. No password and no authentication on the network.
