you know, i find myself instantly disinterested when i see a movie marketed as 'action movie.' i simply cannot stand poor writing, and unfortunently, action flicks are crap magnets... i realise it's not necessarily the point to watch transformers for the script, and i can brain dead my way through a movie if called for, but... you know? in regards to the actual topic, i reckon the priority for action movie makers is simply effects now... even over violence...
