Thanks for the feedback David, Gerry, Marc, Allan, Jeanette and Jonathan. These galaxies were a bit more ambitious than my earlier targets and could clearly do with more/longer subs but like Marc I really like the interacting galaxies and the fields with multiple galaxies in them.
I've been resisting longer subs due to the limited time I have with my lousy horizon at home and because I've noticed some flexure issues with my 10" setup that's proving tricky to track down.
Having Astroplanner and EQMOD has been a huge breakthrough for my galaxy hunting Jonathan. I used to spent a lot of time hunting around but the pointing accuracy with EQMOD is just fantastic - object is always on the chip.
Saturday is looking good for me Allan (leave pass granted).
