NASA TV to show ISS high-definition feed for Earth Day

Should be interesting to see some nice piccies, although I think I'll take NASA's climate change agenda with a grain of salt.

NASA is planning to celebrate Earth Day by broadcasting high-definition images of the planet taken from the International Space Station (ISS).

The US space agency said it would broadcast its high-definition feed on NASA TV and on its website tomorrow.

The broadcasts are part of several NASA activities aimed to raise awareness of global climate issues for Earth Day on April 22, including an exhibit in Washington on environmental issues as seen from space.

The ISS and its permanent crew of three astronauts orbit Earth every 90 minutes some 350km above the planet.

They can see 16 sunrises and sunsets each day.
