Thanks guys for all the feedback and if it was just me I had to worry about I wouldn't
a) have hesitated to have retaliated there and then
b) reported the little MF'er to the Police (well he was actually bigger than me)
and as Marki points out the judicial system in this state has been let down by the Judges letting off these hoons lightly.
Unfortunately my wife would stress and become paranoid about the whole issue especially such things a retribution etc which would not help her MS.
In some ways my post was a way of telling the truth to unrelated parties thereby getting it off my chest you know a burden shared is a burdened halved.
I grew up with two brothers and we used to fight a lot, we had no father so to speak and my mum was old school so she'd belt us with anything she could get her hands on.
I started doing MA on and off since I was 15 mainly because I was a nerd at school and was picked on at times.
He didn't really hurt me that much the bruises I'm used too I'd get plenty of them free sparring when I did MA. I probably didn't retaliate immediately as trained because I was shocked by the audacity of the punk striking me with a stick while I was still holding onto my dogs lead.
If there was some way I could report him anonymously I'd consider that.
