I observed Supernova 2009dd in Ngc 4088 tonight
the seeing and transparency was quite poor as there was quite a lot of moisture in the atmosphere and some lightening out west.
I was able to get a glimpse of the supernova in moments of steady seeing.
At only twelve degrees above the horizon it was quite an effort to get down that low with the 16'.
I hope for better observations tomorrow
