Most well known Ngc galaxies will have images taken by amateurs on Google, or if not try the DSS

I usually do Ron ... not just galaxies either ... I collect lots of Deep Sky images. I have seen other images of M61 but generally close up shots. There are lots of brilliant galaxy images on the RCOS website.
