yep to both.
Prime focus, and with the D100 Nikon, which is a DSLR (6.3mp).
I wanted to try it, especially after many years of film Nikons, and I first used for the two comets earlier this year.
I haven't looked back.
I am currently trialing a 3.3mp cooled colour CCD camera, and at about US$550 it is cost effective. TIme will tell.
