But I'll buy one from an Aussie shop instead (I've found 2 suppliers so far) They are going for around $50

My back has a 2 inch eyepiece barrel screwed on to it. So I'll just slot the adpater in it and it and will then have a male 2" SCT thread on the end. I'll then just attach the SCT Crayford to that.

I'm not sure if it's a bad thing if the focuser is a bit further back from the actual back of the baffle tube. It's not going to be any further away than the diagonal would be (without focuser) so I guess it should work. I have a bit of doubt about this solution because if it works well why don't all manufacturers sell MCT focusers with just a male 2" barrel that slots into an eyepiece holder.....?

If that doesn't work for me, in the long run, I'll get a custom ring made that adapts my 66mm thread to the 2" male sct thread.
