I think you're right.
So I have now amended the title.
I found this bit of detail too:
"The wedge has 4 built in holders for 1.25" eyepieces and a holder for a Motofocus hand paddle. It also has an inbuild bubble level"
Apparently it can be used by attaching tripod legs
(NOT INCLUDED) or by utilizing the central shaft.???
They appear to be selling for over $100 US, so mine looks well priced
and some pics I found of it working
