We've really got our fingers crossed up here on the Sunshine Coast for the Mapleton Event. We'll have everything from 16" dobs to 80mm orions, push to, goto, eq mounts, fork arm mounts, ioptrons, viewing specific objects all night on some and touring with others, there'll be demos of planetary imaging and deep sky imaging. You name it we hope to be doing if for the public to see it in action. We'll have experienced observers as well as complete newbies all having a go. Pretty excited about it.
