Only thing I would add would possibly to reduce the star sizes a bit as the stars are fine but they take attention away from the galaxy a bit.

2 ways

Deconvolution on your masters for LRGB or a bit of minimum filter ( a tad)
after you get the stars selected using the colour range tool.

I wonder if there is a bit of detail in that inner core that could be brought out by lassoing the core and using shadows/highlights or even curves?

I actually find the star sizes fine ... they could be a wee bit bloated no doubt due to the sub lengths on the lum. in conjunction with F4 and being pushed.... but
and yes, on some images I've taken in the past, I've selectively masked stars and used minimum '1', then faded by 50%.... but in all honesty, I feel this image doesn't need it imo. Thanks for your thoughts any way...

I'm always aware of trying not to burn out the core on these bright galaxies.... this one has got me.... unfortunately the core is already gone with out any processing at all.... Aint no detail there I'm afeard !
Could always go back and do a swag of shorter subs and add to the master lum.....
but over all, I'm pretty happy with the final result.
