Strewth Paul, these are excellent images.

Your image of M42 is one of the most detailed and esthetically pleasing that I have seen, I suppose the operators of the wide field cameras on the HST might try for more but surely for a ground based amateur produced image, it is a stand out, truly astonishing.

Your image of Omega Cent is nicely done and there appears to be a SP Galaxy on the far right edge, down from the top of the image, can't detect any pink colour cast on my screen, just a very nice image of a showpiece object of the Southern Sky.

Well done indeed.
