I used to love star trek as a kid, but I never got into any of the new stuff or the movies. I also loved Lost in Space and the Time Tunnel, and It's About Time and all sorts of sci fi stuff as a kid, but fortunately some of that is no longer around .
I've never got into Battlestar Galactica or Stargate, etc either.
But the sci fi I do enjoy includes, Star Wars, The Hitchhikers Guide (In all it's forms ), MIB and MIIB, and Discworld (mainly books but The Hogfather is a good movie ).
