I think they mean it's an hour of daylight they would not get to themselves if they were still at work. I do not use my aircon during the night or mornings but do when I get home in the afternoons. If I am home an hour earlier it is hotter for longer so my aircon runs for a longer period of time. If you like I am confused imagine the poor cows
