Set up the 10 inch tonight. Gave it a collimation, secondary was out somewhat, recently cleaned the primary mirror, optics now spotlessly clean

Went for NGC 2579 in Puppis. 4x10 mins ISO 200. uv/ir filter, modded 350D, mpcc coma corrector. 10 inch f5.6 newtonian with off axis guider. The MPCC works brilliantly, eliminating all coma even in the corners. During a 5th sub the guidestar faded, high cloud had come in though I would have been pushing to go longer as I was getting awfully close to having to do a meridian flip. I envy fork mount users
