For Sale: SV1 Equatorial Mount
Bought this GSO mount in 2006 for my 3 inch refractor. Added a polar scope and RA motor drive later. A sturdy beginner's mount which tracks well for visual. Should work well with Newtonian of 6" or even 8". I have had it polar aligned and hand guided for wide field piggyback photography with good result. A little bit of rust on bolts but not affecting performance. Paid $470 then.
Happy to sell for $190. Prefer pickup by Sydneysiders.
Can throw in 85mm tube rings for extra $20.
Reason for selling? Bought an EQ5 for autoguiding.
