PHD doesn't care / know what's on the other side of that autoguide port. That's a "dumb" port in that it's just sending simple on/off signals for the 4 directions. So, if you've got a guide port, you're fine. Caveat: There are 2 kinds of RJ cable; "straight" and "reversed". All it means is that in one case, one RJ plug is flipped over. SBIG expects one kind of cable and most others expect the other. I've seen this come up a few times for folks but it's fairly rare and easily fixed.
