As Erick stated, there are two primary sources of payments

• Family Assistance Office (Centrelink) provides the Economic Security Strategy Payment. The FAO via Centrelink is a payment based on your Family tax Benefit Part A and other people such as Single parent incomes, disability pensions and carers etc. This one is due to be paid from today.

  You can also call the FAO on 13 6150 between 8am and 8pm (local time) Monday to Friday.

• ATO will be providing a Tax Bonus of up to $900. See the full details here: http://www.ato.gov.au/corporate/cont....htm&page=1&H1. The ATO payment is separate and people are confusing it with the FAO payment. This particular one will be paid April.You can also call the ATO on 13 28 61.
